Customer Review: 42LB5D TV is great
I’ve had this TV for over a year. Money can’t buy happiness, but rarely has it come this close for relatively little. Other reviewers point out the inconvenience with selecting inputs. That is correct; I expect new designs to do better. However, unless you are constantly jumping from one input to another, that is a minor issue. HD cable, my (cheap) Sony DVD player, and input from my computer all look fantastic.
Also, other reviewers suggest avoiding cheap HDMI cables, wanting you to spend at least $75. Digital does not need overpriced cables (you can buy a very decent computer video card for $75, and it is a lot more complicated than some wire and connectors). My several dollar cable has worked perfectly.
Customer Review: Excellent buy!
I bought this TV from another supplier nearly a year ago. It was on sale for $1,099 with free shipping to front door!

Customer Review: LOVE IT!
Got this off HSN with free shipping…easy to set up,beautiful picture, hdmi’s made blu ray dvd and cable box set up a breeze. Remote works for tv and dvd easily. The blu-ray really popped the dvd..it’s unbelievably sharp. No complaints. Compared it to the sonys and samsungs first. Very pleased with the 120hz and 50,000:1 contrast ratio for this price. You can adjust the sound and picture to the mode you want..cinema, sport, set by program, etc. And it has an automatic lighting adjustment in case you turn on a light, it will readjust the picture.
Customer Review: If you like a Gray vertical stripe….
After waiting 2 weeks for its arrival you can only imagine my dismay when I took it out of its box, pluged it in to see a 1/4 inch wide grey strip running from top to bottom in the middle of the screen. Picture was great if only the stipe was not there. Needless to say, TV went back and the supplier does not have any more, so here I sit trying to decide on another brand of TV.

Customer Review: AWESOME!!!!!!!
After a couple of months of researching LCD televisions, I narrowed my search to Sony, Samsung, Visio and LG.
I saw models of the first 3 brands that I was interested in, but couldn’t find a store that carried the LG Scarlet……..until I visited Conn’s when they were advertising a lower end LG model at a really great price.
I was checking that one out and just wasn’t that pleased with it…..and then I noticed right above it was the LG 47LG60 Scarlet. It was hands down the most attractive of all the televisions with an awesome picture.
So instead of buying at the store, I came home and made my purchase through Amazon.com and couldn’t be more pleased……….with the service, with the delivery and best of all - with the television.
Customer Review: 47LG60 With red back and glowing circle
OK lets talk about features that some people don’t understand and would like if considering this unit. It has 1080i resolution. (possibly best than can be seen by the human eye) Resolution speaks for it’s self.

Customer Review: Awesome
So here’s the deal, I compared the 2008 model of this LG with a comparable Sony and Samsung. Side by side, feature for feature the LG put them both in the closet. Do yourself a favor and do the same if you’re thinking of buying a TV. As of this writing (mid March 2009) the 2009 model will be out approximately next week. The store I bought from gave me $100 discount if I bought and waited for the new model to arrive. I gladly obliged.
