Customer Review: SAMSUNG LN37A330 37″ LCD HDTV
Purchased this TV from Sixth Avenue Electronics through AMAZON. Of course, dealing with AMAZON was easy and flawless as usual. I love using AMAZON! The TV arrived early and with everything needed for a quick set up. Worked perfectly from minute one. I really like Samsung because they make things simple and easy to use and also have excellent quality. Price was $40 lower than anywhere else. Kudos to 6th Avenue. Awesome!
Customer Review: A great low cost second HDTV
I got this TV for our basement for the Wii that we just purchased as we have a 55 inch DLP upstairs for our normal viewing. The reason why we got a lower end LCD was 1 price, 2 it wasn’t going to be our everyday TV to watch so I wasn’t quite as concerned with the picture quality, and 3 we wanted to mount it on the wall so that we would not have issues with hitting it with our Wii remotes. The picture quality is great with the Wii and is good for TV. I would recommend this TV for someone that isn’t going to use it as their primary TV. If they were buying a primary TV I would suggest spending more and getting a 1080p as you can see the difference in picture quality. Again though, this TV delivered on why I got it and didn’t disappoint one bit.

Customer Review: Samsung - Red Touch of Color
We have several LCD TVs and by far the Samsung has the clearest picture. We selected this model because of its unique size for a 40-inch TV that fit perfectly in our space.
Customer Review: Beautiful image quality, lacking on functionality
After conducting exhaustive research for my new 1080p TV to watch Blu-Rays on, I found the 630 to be the best value for money out there (as of feb-2009). Image quality is every bit as good as others say, DVDs look crisp and bright. The 630 series has the semi-matte finish which works great for me because the room is brightly lit and would be impossible to watch on the reflective screens on the 650 series and the like. Strongly recommend this feature if your room has lots of light.

California Energy Commission Rule to Impact HDTV Industry (PC World via Yahoo! News)
For the California Energy Commission, the voluntary guidelines of the Federal Energy Star program aren’t enough to curb energy guzzling by HDTVs. In a unanimous vote, the CEC just introduced the nation’s first state-mandated regulations for energy efficiency. The regulations will apply to televisions up to 58 inches in screen size.
